Next, we describe the processing of your personal data and your rights under the current data protection regulations – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, and regulations that develop it.

  1. Who is responsible for your personal data?

The processing of personal data is under the responsibility of TURISCAMP S.A. (hereinafter “the company”) with corporate address at c/ Santiago Rusiñol s/n, 17250 – Platja d’Aro, Girona, Spain.

  1. For which purpose and legitimate basis do we treat your data?

The supplied data will be handled for the following purposes:

  1. Contact forms. The data captured through the Website contact form will be treated to respond, in the first instance, to inquiries, requests, comments, questions, complaints or any other concern received through this channel.

Legitimate basis of treatment: the legitimate basis of the treatment is the consent granted by the interested party. Clients may withdraw their consent at any time following instructions given in section IV.

  1. Requests received via email or through social networks.The data captured via email or social networks, will be treated to respond, in the first instance, to inquiries, requests, comments, questions, complaints or any other concern received through this channel.

Legitimate basis of treatment: the legitimate basis of data treatment is to satisfy our legitimate business interests. Clients have the right to oppose to the processing of their data following instructions given in section IV.

  1. Work with Us form. The data captured through the Work with Us form, will be treated to manage your application and your participation in current and future selection processes.

  1. Managing your booking and provide services requested. In order to manage and formalize the purchase of products and provision of services offered by the company, the client has two direct channels: website (https://riembau.com) and telephone.

If the contract is carried out by telephonic means, calls may be recorded in order to verify and demonstrate the reservation agreed with the client. The company will always notify that the call is being recorded. The continued participation of the client in the call will imply his agreement with the recording. Non-conformity will imply the impossibility of managing the reservation request.

In order to manage reservations requested by the client, the company will treat their personal data through data collections forms. Likewise, the company will process the necessary information to manage modification or cancellation requests regarding client’s reservations.

Should the client provide data relating to their health in free drafting fields or by telephonic means, the Camping assumes the client has voluntarily provided this information, since there is no previous request of this information. These personal data will only be processed to satisfy the client’s request (for example, adapted services based on special needs).

  1. Compliance with accounting, legal, fiscal and administrative requirements.

  1. Distribution of commercial communications related to products, services, promotions, events or any other news relevant to the user that may be attractive for the client.

  1. Distribution of corporate communications. The company may send the clients through any type of communication (e-mail, newsletter, etc) corporate communications to keep them inform about the Camping’s new.

Client complaints management. In order to deal with client complaints related to the services hired during their stay at the Camping, the company will received information related to the claim generated in the Camping, so as to ensure an adequate solution. In this sense, the company requires to gain access to the information generated by the client in the Camping to manage the complaint submitted by the client.

Should the complaint be related to damages subjected to compensation, the company would communicate this information to the insurer hired by the company in order to handle the incident suffered by the client.

  1. Customer service. The Company provides customer information service in order to resolve clients (or potential clients) requests related to issues that might arise prior to the reservation, or during their stay, as well as related to the services offered by the Camping.

Legitimate basis of treatment: the legitimate basis of data treatment is to satisfy our legitimate business interests. Clients have the right to oppose to the processing of their data following instructions given in section IV.

  1. Legal or administrative procedures. The company, in the event of legal or administrative procedures that might arise as a result of the services offered by the Camping, will treat the necessary information to present the appropriate allegations, exercise its right of defense or file any claims that it deems appropriate based on the events occurred.

Legitimate basis of treatment: this treatment is based on legal obligations, established by administrative regulations (mainly, the Common Administrative Procedure Law), or, is necessary for the Camping to exercise its legitimate right to effective judicial protection, both in its right of defense and in the filing of legal claims, based on the Law of Civil Procedure or the Law of Criminal Procedure.

  1. Customer satisfaction surveys. To assess the level of customer satisfaction regarding the products and/or services offered, quality surveys will be forwarded in order to have their opinion.

Incident management system. The Camping will process the necessary information of its clients to manage any incident reported or detected by the Camping itself by its own means (including those incidents that may be detected by its service providers). This data treatment will only be carried out in order to resolve the issue and the problems resulting from it. The company understands that it has a legitimate interest to prevent the security of its computer assets, as well as to solve incidents that put at risk such security or the continuity of the provision of the services offered to its customers.

III. How long will we keep your data?

The personal data to which the Camping has access will be treated as long as the contractual relationship is maintained. After this, the company will retain personal data once their contractual relationship is terminated or when they cease to be relevant for the purposes collected, duly blocked, to be made available to the competent Public Administrations, Judges and Courts or the Public Prosecutor during the limitation period of the actions that may arise from the relationship maintained with the client and/or the conservation periods provided by law. The company will proceed to the physical deletion of your data once these deadlines have elapsed.

Likewise, if the client has not opposed the reception of commercial communications, the company may process the personal data as hereby described. The client may unsubscribe from receiving such communications in case they consider it inappropriate through the means indicated in section IV.

  1. Your legal rights

Interested parties may exercise, if they wish, the rights of access, correction and deletion of data, request the restriction of the processing of their personal data, object to the processing of their data, request transfer of their data, as well as not to be subjected to automated individual decisions, through the following means:

  • By sending a written request to the postal address indicated above providing the necessary documentation that will allow us to verify your identity (copy of your ID, passport, power of attorney, NIE, etc.).
  • By email to the following address: rgpd@riembau.com.
  • In person.

Those interested may, in relation to those treatments that are based on obtaining their consent, withdraw their consent through the procedure detailed in the previous paragraph.Interested parties may request opposition to those treatments based on the legitimate interest of the company, especially the receipt of commercial communications, and receipt of surveys.
